MESA School Program

Beginning in 1997 with only 5 schools, CEED'S MSP program currently serves 19 middle and high school students and over 600 parents from urban schools in both Los Angeles Unified Inglewood Unified School Districts. Participating schools are:

At each MESA school site, up to 4 math and science teachers serve as MESA advisors and coordinate math, science, and engineering activities for up to 35 students each. In addition, MESA high school students benefit from the support of college counselors who have joined our team of MESA advisors.

Each year, students take part in MESA Day, a culminating regional event in which students enter a number of competitions to test their skills and take pride in their achievements from throughout the school year.
