Tech Day is a technical exposition designed to engage middle and high school students and teachers in highly interactive technology and engineering demonstrations and conversations.

The pilot program was hosted in 2003 at the Los Angeles Convention Center. This very successful event involved 16 CEED corporate partners, five UCLA engineering departments and 3 UCLA NSF and NASA research centers. The day included Northrop's disposable smart planes, SBC's internet technology racks, nanotechnology kits, object oriented programming, circuit design, and chemical engineering experiments.
